Jana Sossong

Director of Human Resources

Jana joined Gannon in December 2021. She began her HR career in 2005 and has held a variety of roles from employment to employee relations.

She is a proud Gannon graduate and is excited to be working here! Jana is married and the proud mom of one son and two step-daughters.

Robin Senger

Benefit Administrator

Robin joined Gannon in November 2022. She has been in HR for close to ten years in a variety of positions, the longest being benefits.

She was born and raised in Erie, and is married and a proud mother of one daughter and two dogs. She loves to travel and spend time at the beach.

Robin is a Gannon Alumni and is excited to be back!

Denise Comi

HRIS Specialist/HRIS Administrator

Denise started at Gannon in July 2017 in the Villa Maria School of Nursing, and joined the HR team in September 2023. She has almost 20 years experience of business and supervisory experience in the healthcare field.

Denise has been the Confirmation facilitator and volunteer catechist at Blessed Sacrament Parish for the past 16 years, as well as a lector and Eucharistic Minister. She's married to her high school sweetheart and has three kids, one daughter-in-law, and two dogs.

Heather Michel

HR Generalist/HRIS

Heather joined the HR team in October 2022. She has a several years of experience with non-profits, social services, and healthcare and is excited to be a part of the HR team.

Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters and can be found walking the shores of Lake Erie looking for driftwood and beach glass.
